What makes an item NFMC on a Bradley?
NFMC faults on the Bradley include track damage or missing track shoes, road wheel damage, engine or transmission leaks, brake system failures, and any fault affecting the vehicle's weapons systems, fire control, or armor protection. The Bradley's 25mm chain gun, TOW missile system, and thermal sights also have specific NFMC criteria that deadline the vehicle for combat operations.
How does Bradley PMCS differ from wheeled vehicle PMCS?
Bradley PMCS (TM 9-2350-294-10-1) includes tracked vehicle-specific checks such as track tension and condition, road wheel and return roller inspection, sprocket wear, and final drive oil levels. It also includes checks on the 25mm M242 chain gun, TOW launcher, and thermal imaging systems not found on wheeled vehicle PMCS.
