M984 Wrecker PMCS
The M984 is the recovery wrecker variant of the HEMTT family, providing heavy vehicle recovery capability for wheeled vehicles up to 40 tons. It is equipped with a crane, winch, and spade system for self-recovery and vehicle extraction. The M984 is the primary wheeled vehicle recovery asset at battalion and brigade level.

Perform these checks weekly or every 40 hours of operation, whichever comes first.
Perform these checks monthly or every 160 hours of operation, whichever comes first.
Perform these checks before every mission or movement. Items marked NFMC will prevent the vehicle from being dispatched.
Monitor these items while the vehicle is operating. Stop immediately if any NFMC condition is observed.
Perform these checks after every mission or movement. Allow engine to cool before checking fluids.
