Perform these checks weekly or every 7 days of operation.

Lubricate all fittings per lubrication order — apply grease to all zerks on suspension, turret, and gun
Lubricate recoil mechanism — apply oil to recoil guides and buffer cylinder per lubrication chart
Lubricate turret traverse ring — apply grease to traverse ring gear and pinion
Check track tension and adjust if needed — measure sag and adjust per TM procedures
Inspect all hydraulic hoses and fittings — check for chafing, leaks, and security of clamps
Check battery electrolyte level and specific gravity — top off with distilled water if low
Clean engine air cleaner — remove and clean element; check housing for damage
Inspect equilibrator condition — check for leaks and proper tension; verify gun balance
Check ammunition stowage — verify all rounds are properly secured; check propellant charges for damage
NFMC — No Further Movement Criteria. Any fault on an NFMC item means the vehicle is non-mission-capable and must not be dispatched until repaired. Annotate on DA Form 5988 immediately.
