Perform these checks monthly or every 30 days of operation.

Perform complete lubrication per lubrication order — document in DA Form 2404
Check final drive oil levels and inspect for leaks — change oil if contaminated or at service interval
Inspect main winch drum and brake — check drum for cracks; test brake holding capacity
Inspect auxiliary winch drum and brake — check drum for cracks; test brake holding capacity
Check all electrical connectors and wiring harnesses — inspect for corrosion, chafing, and loose connections
Inspect boom structural welds — check for cracks at all weld joints; pay special attention to pivot area
Check fire suppression system — test detectors; verify Halon bottles are charged and within hydrostatic test date
Inspect NBC overpressure system (if equipped) — check filter condition, seals, and blower operation
Check all road wheel mounting bolts — torque to specification; replace any missing or damaged bolts
Inspect track end connectors and master pins — replace any worn or damaged connectors
NFMC — No Further Movement Criteria. Any fault on an NFMC item means the vehicle is non-mission-capable and must not be dispatched until repaired. Annotate on DA Form 5988 immediately.
