AFTER OPERATIONS PMCS

Check engine compartment for fluid leaks — oil, coolant, fuel, or hydraulic fluid on ground or components

Check engine oil level — top off if below MIN; investigate if significantly low

Check coolant level in deaeration tank — top off if low; never open cap when hot

Check transmission fluid level — top off if below MIN

Drain air reservoirs — open drain valves to expel moisture from primary and secondary air tanks

Inspect all 8 tires for damage, embedded objects, or abnormal wear after operation

Check run-flat inserts — inspect for damage or displacement after operation

Inspect brake chambers, lines, and hoses for leaks, chafing, or damage on all axles

Inspect driveshafts and U-joints — front, center, and rear; check for damage or missing hardware

Check wheel lug nuts for tightness on all 8 wheels — torque to specification if loose

Inspect exhaust system — no loose hangers, cracks, or leaks near crew compartment

Check air filter restriction indicator — service if red band shows

Inspect fuel system — check fuel lines, filter, and tank for leaks or damage

Check all exterior lights for damage or burned-out bulbs

Inspect hull for damage — dents, cracks, or loose armor panels

Check hatches, latches, and seals — all hatches must open, close, and latch properly

Check ramp — inspect hinges, hydraulic cylinders, and latch mechanism for damage or leaks

Check seat belts and mounting hardware — must latch, retract, and release properly

Clean vehicle — remove mud, debris, and corrosive materials from undercarriage and hull

Complete DA Form 5988 — annotate all faults found; submit to motor sergeant
